Beloved Coal Harbour destination 6 Degrees Eatery (1590 Coal Harbour Quay) celebrates its fifth anniversary with the launch of a new dining experience. The menu, crafted by executive chef Clement Chan, features fresh, local ingredients with playful and bold flavour combinations.

“Our breakfast offerings are the cornerstone of our restaurant, and we’re excited to introduce Chef Clement’s take on our home favourites and share them with our neighbours,” explains Karen Ho and Iain Bell, owners of 6 Degrees Eatery. “6 Degrees Eatery humbly started out as an espresso bar, and we are so thrilled to see it evolve into a favourite neighbourhood spot in Coal Harbour. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with our friends, family, and loyal customers.”

The new menu (dishes from $11) features a selection of savoury, comforting dishes for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Examples include:

  • A range of eggs benedicts – Get-In-My Belly (pork belly), Magic Mushrooms (vegetables), and Fishing-For-A Compliment (smoked salmon)
  • Comforting mains – Big Buck Buck Bucks (breakfast chicken cacciatore), From My Head To-ma-toes (vegetable hash), and The Full Monty (full breakfast).

In addition, a full gamut of French toasts and waffles are available all-day. From I Knead You! French toast with salted egg yolk custard and whipped lemon mascarpone to I’m Berry Delicious with warm Liege style waffles and dulce de leche, there is something to satisfy guests’ sweet tooth.

Chan is one of Vancouver’s most recognizable and talented chefs. He has represented Canada as part of the World Culinary Olympics and appeared on Food Network’s Top Chef Canada, Eat St and Chopped CanadaChef Chan was selected as one of the top 10 chefs in BC Gold Medal Plates. His extensive repertoire includes opening and consulting for Brass Fish Tavern & Kitchen, Torafuku (co-founder), Blue Water Cafe, Lucky Diner, and Hapa Izakaya.

“When developing the menu, our goal was to unveil an inspired interpretation of classic breakfast delights while paying homage to the eatery’s humble beginnings amidst the vibrant Coal Harbour neighbourhood,” adds Chef Chan.

Complementing the menu is 6 Degree Eatery’s coffee bar, as well as a range of brunch drinks, such as its famous mimosas, and All Day Coal Harbour Caesar ($15) with vodka, Walter’s Craft Caesar mix, pickled asparagus, celery, olives, and crispy bacon.

6 Degree Eatery is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dine-in and take-out options are currently available. For more information, please visit 6degreeseatery.com.
