Get ready to crack some claws and dive into an authentic Taste of BC Summer’s seafood experience! The 3rd BC CrabFest has a new home and is thrilled to announce its 2025 event, taking place on June 29th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the scenic Ship Point in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
The most delicious part of the festival is the opportunity to purchase a ticket for an irresistible, flavourful, BC Dungeness CrabBoil. Fresh from the docks to the on-site chefs, cooked to perfection, bathed in signature seasoning and melted butter, and enjoyed harbourside with family and friends. This is the quintessential taste of Coastal BC Summertime. The BC Dungeness CrabBoil bucket features the freshest BC Dungeness crab, mussels, prawns/shrimp, potatoes, and corn, all sourced freshly and locally, directly from BC’s hardworking fishing families. This ocean-to-table experience guarantees high quality and ocean friendly sustainability, showcasing the best of what our coastal waters have to offer.
Attendees can enjoy a lively Seaside Family Zone, featuring engaging activities for all ages, and all day programming in the Education Marketplace, where guests can dive into sustainable oceans and seafood practices.
“We are incredibly excited to bring BC CrabFest to the heart of Victoria’s Inner Harbour,” said Heather MacLeod, President of BC Crab Co. event founder and organizer of BC CrabFest. “This festival is a celebration of our coastal culture and community and the incredible fishing families, like mine, who make it possible. We’re creating an unforgettable experience that blends delicious seafood with the vibrant culture of our community.” MacLeod urges crab lovers to “Purchase your BC CrabBoil bucket online in advance”. “Head to our website www.bccrabco.ca or http://crabfest.ca/ and click Tickets. You will purchase them through Showpass. Thank you for your support!”
