Treasure Green Tea Company is a hidden gem located right in Chinatown across the street from Phnom Penh. Olivia is a second generation tea master that now runs the shop. The shop was established in 1981 by Olivia’s father as the first authentic Chinese tea shop in Vancouver.
I stopped here with my coworkers to grab an iced oolong tea with orange peel. It was a hot day and we wanted something unique.
One sip and I was hooked. It was not too sweet and was just so well balanced. Originally, I was the only one that wanted one and suddenly everyone else had to order one too.
The iced tea flavours change often, but its really good.
They also sell a lot of loose leaf teas. From small 50g pouches to larger ones that will last you a while. They have a few cheap options, but then there are a good amount of premium teas that will cost you quite a bit. I love asian teas! A good way to taste test the teas and learn more is to book a tea tasting with Olivia.
