I had reached a dozen stars and I could get a free drink. I was going to get my usual order of a cappuccino, but the Citrus Green Tea Latte caught my eye. I like green tea lattes, so I was curious about how the citrus would play a role in this drink.

Apparently they can make it into a frappuccino too. It was a cold day in Vancouver, so I went with the hot drink instead of the frap.

The made the Citrus Green Tea Latte and poured a lot of citrus flavouring on top, so you can see a bit of it on top with a yellowish colour.

At first, the drink tasted very off as I couldn’t put my finger on it. After taking a few more sips, it reminded me of liquified lemon cough drops in a green tea latte. I literally felt a cough coming on since I take cough drops when I have a sore throat. I hated it and wouldn’t order this again. I couldn’t finish the whole cup either.

I’ve heard a few people like this drink, but I just couldn’t wrap my head around how it tastes like lemon cough drops.

  1. This sounds kind like when they first introduced the green tea latte and they sweetened it with a gross melon flavoured syrup.
