It’s almost Summer and it’s time for Frappuccinos at Starbucks. The cookie Straw was introduced last month to go with their new Smores Frappuccino.
I was a rebel and went with the Java Chip Frappuccino and bought the cookie straw for $1 extra.
I thought it was a fun idea since I remember as a kid drinking my milk with a Twizzler straw. The Cookie Straw does cost extra but I wanted to give it a try. I needed a bit of fun in my week.
When I opened the cookie straw, there was so much hardened chocolate inside that air wouldn’t go past it. So, I had to bite the straw until it removed the blockage. Luckily it was just at one of the straw.
After drinking it for a while, the straw never goes soggy because of the coating of milk chocolate inside. It is a fun addition to the drink, but its not very essential to the enjoyment of a frappuccino.
