This is what happens when you have night classes and are left with little choices of restaurants past 10pm. M, InsecureGirl and I headed over to Red Robins to grab a bite before more studying!

The closest Red Robins is located at Lougheed Mall Plaza. We’ve been here several times and its just regular food.

We all started off with the tower of onion rings. This is probably that one appetizer that everyone oogles at since it’s so tall. I just think it looks kinda pornographic. Anyways, the onion rings are pretty good, crunchy on the outside and savory onion in the center. It also comes with 2 sauces but the onion ring was too large to dip into the sauces, so you would need to rip the onion ring in half first.

InsecureGirl ordered the Creamy Classic Mac & Cheese ($11.49). It comes with a salad with choice of dressing and bread.

M and I both got the ensalada chicken platter ($13.49). There are 2 chicken breasts as well, but they were rather flat and not very pump. Comes with salad, salsa and a creamy lime sauce on the side.

Words of Widom:

  • Large amount of seating, good for b-day parties ( reservation is recommended)
  • Lots of parking
  • Free dessert for Birthday and they sing you songs!
