Purdy’s Chocolatier has launched their Gold Hedgehog along side their Milk Chocolate Hedgehog flavour.
What is the Gold Hedgehog made of?
The Gold Hedgehog has a chocolate shell is made of caramelized white chocolate with notes of toffee and toasted caramel, enrobing the classic hazelnut gianduja centre.

Taste Test
As the outer shell of the Gold Hedgehogs is made with caramelized white chocolate, I do find it sweeter than the regular milk chocolate hedgehogs.
The centre of the Hedgehog is still the same, so you will get the rush of delicious hazelnut chocolate inside. It’s still a good Hedgehog but it comes down to personal preference.
