Mc Donalds: Season Dippings

I have seen ads all over Vancouver advertising the new dipping sauces for the holiday season. Since we were here anyways…I thought I would try it just for the heck of it.

I ordered my 10 piece Mc Nuggets and asked for the Holiday Cranberry Sauce , Jolly Green Apple and my favorite Honey Mustard (as a safety).

BigBaby, KoreanGirl, and SingingGirl wanted to try it too…so we dipped nuggets and fries into the sauce and it was an interesting experience. The Cranberry sauce tasted similar to the sauce you would have with turkey. The Jolly Green apple was like Jolly Rancher candy.

When you put these sweet sauces with a savory item like nuggets…it does not taste great.

I totally get the effect that Mc Donalds was going for…sauces that reflect the Holiday Season. I am so glad they still have the usual sauces like Honey Mustard, Sweet & Sour and BBQ.

If  you are planning to order Mc Nuggets anytime soon, why not just try the sauces for fun and gross your friends out. Sauces are free so take as many as you want!

Wow — I’m glad I have no consciousness of anything McDonald’s. I never knew they were creating sauces like that. So people could get weird artificial chemical concoctions to dip their weird meat-like substances in. (I feel the same way about McNuggets as I do about Yoo-Hoo soda — “What’s that shit made of, anyway?”) McNuggets are one of the few things I won’t eat even if they’re free, like someone brings them in to work. I have seen fluid the colour of the Jolly Rancher sauce coming out of stomach drainage tubes that I had to insert into people at the hospital who had intestinal blockages. That’s probably the only thing that would taste worse.
