Experience a touch of Parisian magic in Vancouver this holiday season with Ladurée’s exquisite collection of iconic French winter treats. The world-renowned patisserie’s signature line of Bûche de Noël, Bûchette de Noël, limited-edition macaron boxes, and new macaron flavours are now available for pre-order

“Although we don’t know when we can travel freely again, people can still enjoy a piece of Paris right here in Vancouver at Ladurée,” says Olesya Krakhmalyova of Ladurée Canada. “In France, chocolates, cakes, and confections are abundant during this time and truly highlights Parisians’ love for sweet creations. As always, we continue to bring our famous macarons straight from Europe so our guests can enjoy the exact same quality in Vancouver as they would in Paris. All our pastries, cakes and desserts are made in a Vancouver laboratory by Ladurée executive pastry chef Eulalie Hermand using Ladurée recipes.”

Ladurée’s full range of signature yule logs are available now for pre-order for December pick-up and delivery on its website in two sizes, the Bûche de Noël (from $68 for 6 people) and the mini Bûchette de Noël (from $11). Flavours include:

Marie-Antoinette
Ladurée’s iconic yule log with a macaron base, rose-infused buttercream, and a raspberry and lychee jam.

La Marquise
Hazelnut dacquoise biscuit and crunchy hazelnut pieces, Sachertorte sponge, crisp hazelnut wafer, a milk chocolate and hazelnut cream

Mademoiselle
crunchy almond base, compote with red fruits, almond crémeux, and a vanilla and mascarpone mousse

La Favourite
pistachio macaron base, buttercream infused with roasted Iranian pistachios, and delicately flaked praline

This year, Ladurée collaborated with Michelin-starred chef Jean-François Piège to create two new macaron flavours – the Blanc Manger featuring two macaron shells dusted with vanilla seeds, a vanilla ganache filling and a caramel centre; and the Clementine Saffron Rose featuring two macarons shells sprinkled with dried rose petals, and filled with clementine cream and a hint of saffron.

Guests are invited to fill Ladurée’s festive holiday boxes, designed with holly branches and golden pine this year, with their personal selection of macarons. The limited-edition Christmas boxes start from $35 for eight macarons up to $90 for 24 macarons.

“This year, we recognize our guests want to be able to shop in a variety of ways, and we are here to help and accommodate,” adds Krakhmalyova. “We offer local delivery in Metro Vancouver, in-store pick-up for pre-orders, and of course, we are happy to welcome customers at our boutique and tea salon with all safety measures carefully observed. In addition, we have a selection of gift items and macaron boxes available for nationwide shipping – if you want to treat a friend or family member, we’ll ship it to them directly.”

Other holiday gifting options at Ladurée include its classic macaron boxes (from $27) and its collection of custom-made, luxury hampers (gift boxes starting at $174) available in a range of themes and colours and filled with luscious Ladurée treats, such as macarons, chocolate, nougats, tea, and jam.

For a quick getaway away from the city, step inside Ladurée’s tea salon at 1141 Robson St. and enjoy its popular Holiday Afternoon Tea for two (from $60), featuring mini croissant sandwiches, guest’s choice of a Bûchette de Noël, buttery financiers and madeleines with Chantilly cream, fruit salad, and a beverage (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, champagne or cocktail). Other new additions include a Holiday Special Vanilla Caramel French Toast for brunch and two new lattes: Peppermint Mocha and Chestnut Praline.

Guests can pick up their holiday pre-orders at Vancouver’s Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salon at 1141 Robson St. or at Ladurée Carriage Pop Up inside Holt Renfrew at 737 Dunsmuir St.
