Japadog: Yakisoba Japadog

By now, almost everyone in Vancouver has probably heard of Japadog. They are famous for having Japanese inspired hotdogs.

They have even attracted may celebrities visiting Vancouver.

They have even expanded into New York!

Everything is prepared at the cart and you can see them hard at work!

Yakisoba Japadog ($7) has a pork sausage topped with yakisoba noodles and pickled ginger on a toasted bun. It tasted really good, but it was kinda messy to eat.

They also have super unique types of japadogs such as the edamame one where the sausage has beans. They do have regular hotdogs too, but why have that when you can have a Japadog!

Words of Wisdom:

  • Better than the usual hotdog stands
  • Under $10
  • Can be a bit expensive
  • Good place to take tourists since it’s world-famous
  • Terimayo, Oroshi and Okonomi is most popular
