With many Vancouverites staying close to home over the holidays this year, Glowbal Restaurant will be keeping spirits merry and bright by launching of two signature take-home meal packages: a Festive Brunch Buffet and a Christmas Eve Dinner available for pick up on Sunday, December 13 and Thursday, December 24, respectively.
Inspired by traditional holiday buffets but reimagined for an at-home dining experience, these limited-edition meal packages will give families the opportunity to enjoy a carefree meal together over the holiday season without worrying about stressful meal prep and kitchen cleanup. The ready-to-eat take-home feasts are designed for households of four to six dinners and will feature a truly incredible array of fresh salads, soups, meat and seafood entrées, seasonal side dishes, decadent desserts and seasonal pastries to share with those who are near and dear.
Festive Brunch Buffet – pick-up on December 13
Glowbal’s Festive Brunch Buffet at Home ($240 / serves 4 to 6) offers a chef-prepared culinary spread of healthful salads, exceptional breakfast dishes, gourmet meat and seafood, and sweet pastries. Highlights include smoked wild salmon with potato rosti, Dijon and herb-rubbed USDA striploin, prawn cocktail, an open-faced ham and mushroom omelette, Christmas butter tarts, chocolate Yule log, assorted macarons and many more daytime delights. The brunch package will be available for pick-up on Sunday, December 13 and must be purchased online on or before December 12.
Christmas Eve Dinner – pick-up on December 24
Vancouver diners can celebrate the night before Christmas with a hassle-free Christmas Eve Dinner at Home ($350 / serves 4 to 6) courtesy of Glowbal’s talented culinary team. Available for pick-up on Thursday, December 24, the incredible buffet-style meal includes roasted butternut squash soup, wedge salad, slow-roasted half turkey, herb-crusted striploin, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetable sides, and a sweet selection of desserts such as truffles, macarons, Yule log cake, candy cane cheesecake pops and much more. As quantities are limited, pre-orders must be placed online by December 22 at the latest.
Both signature take-home meal packages can be elevated even further with a premium seafood add-on that includes two 1-lb. Atlantic lobsters and King Crab with butter for an additional $160.
Glowbal’s Festive Brunch Buffet and Christmas Eve Dinner will be available exclusively for pick-up on Sunday, December 13 and Thursday, December 24, respectively, at 590 West Georgia Street.
