The concept of a Musical Feast is an elegant, enchanted evening. Chef Bill Jones of Deerholme Farm has teamed up with renowned New York City composer and pianist Misha Piatigorsky and Blue Grouse Estate Winery to present a magical triad on May 20. Guests are in for a wonderful evening of virtuoso music, farm-to-table food, and exciting wine.
This long weekend event is one that food and drink aficionados won’t want to miss, but they need to act fast, as tickets are 50% sold.
Proud to assist the local community, the Musical Feast will be making a donation to Nourish Cowichan on behalf of the event to provide free healthy meals for students in the Cowichan Valley.
“A stunning location for an event; we will create a long table dinner prepared by some of the islands best chefs, featuring the best of local ingredients. Highlights will include spit-roasted local lamb seasoned with Grand Fir needles and platters of local vegetables cooked over vine cuttings. Dishes will be served family style and paired with the delicious wines of Blue Grouse.” shares Chef Bill Jones, Musical Feast’s main organizer.
