Doritos Canada has come out with the limited edition Guacamole chips. I love guacamole, so I was excited to see how they would take the essence of guacamole and transform it into chip form.
The chips have a slight green on colour with the yellow chip underneath shining through. Upon first bite, it had hints of lime and reminded me of a ranch flavour. It really didn’t taste like guacamole at all.
With the last 2 flavours Doritos launched – Ketchup and Guacamole, I definitely prefer Ketchup over Guacamole.
Overall, if you are a Guacamole lover, these chips won’t hit the spot. I would rather make Guacamole from real avocados, then get some plain chips to dunk into it.
